Ewha Womans University, private institution of higher learning in Seoul. It was one of Asia’s earliest institutions dedicated to women’s higher education. Located in the Seodaemun district of Seoul, it remains one of South Korea’s most prestigious universities and a significant institution in the global landscape of women’s education.
