Under Huang’s leadership, NVIDIA has become one of the leading providers of graphics processing units (GPUs) and has taken center stage in the current artificial intelligence (AI) boom. Huang was born the second son of Taiwan citizens Huang Hsing-tai and Lo Tsai-hsiu. Huang’s father was a chemical engineer, and his mother taught grade school. When he was five, the family moved to Thailand.
